Invisible horse and player in multiplayer

As my wife and I were traveling to sack a Woodland Mansion, we slept in our beautiful colored beds, and when we awoke she could not see me but she could see my horse, and I could not see my horse or interact with it in any way. I could interact with anything else I could see, however.
