After Exiting Full screen can't Maximize with out restarting Minecraft

After entering Fullscreen and exiting I can't seem to resize the window or maximize it I can only either play in fullscreen or in a very tiny window. I have tired to set manually turning off fullscreen and it still gives me the problem I used to never have this rescaling problem until now.
