Torch and Redstone Torch Placed on Bottom of Block Causes Crash

If you attempt to place a torch or redstone torch by targeting the underside of a block, where a block is present (below or beside) that provides a valid location for a torch, the game crashes due to trying to place a torch with property down. This does not occur with ladders, redstone, comparators or repeaters. It also does not occur if no valid location for torch is present.
