really bad world errors

I was Nomading around on a server, so you know I was getting bored with this ocean, then I saw a giant drop off with no end in sight that seemed to be the horrizen, I first thought it was the end of the world, so I broke my boat to stop, and then it filled in with water as a sank down to get my boat, so I thought it was just a chunk error, and I just continued, then I just sort of zoned out and I fell in another, I swiftly left and logged in again 10 minutes later only to find I DIED. I hadn't even fallen below the bottom of the sea!I am mad and continue to vote for the server to get my diamonds back,
