Minecraft Crash When Breaking Block; Can't Even Check Crash Info

Everytime I break a block like a grass block, hit an NPC, or really anything besides walking around, checking my inventory, and playing with settings, MC stops responding and crashes. Any idea what could be up with this? Also mentioning that sometimes when I open a world, the game will stop responding and crash.
