Game crashes when selecting blocks or items in the statistics menu while in Creative mode

In creative mode, if I go to statistics and click on blocks or items, the game crashes and a message says "An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed.
When I click on general, nothing happens.

In survival mode, only the general tab is highlighted.
