when you fly and then use space to go up, a Parrot in your shoulder just disappear

i was wandering what will happen if i fly and then press space wih a parrot on my shoulder, i pressed it and my pet Gummy (the parrot) gone from my shoulder T_T (the sound's of my parrot is still in my side but he's not there T_T)
