Tab "new recipe" animation plays each time recipe book is viewed until the specific recipe is shown

To reproduce, remove all recipes from yourself: /recipe take @p *. Now open your recipe book and switch the preference to "showing craftable." Give yourself the recipe for any item. /recipe give @p redstone_torch.

Open the recipe book once again. You won't see any recipes, as you only have one unlocked with insufficient ingredients. You'll notice the "redstone" tab has been unlocked, and it will play the "swelling" animation to indicate there are new recipes there. You can move around the recipe book and click on any tab you like. Close your inventory and open it again. The "new tab" animation will play again. This will repeat until you switch your crafting preference back or obtain ingredients to craft the new recipe.
