Minecraft Crash on Smaller Screen

I have a Mac Book Pro Retina connected to a 24 inch Dell monitor.

On first run, if I have Minecraft running on the second monitor and attempt to access something that cause an inventory screen to appear or try to access the option screen, Minecraft immediately crashes.

If I access the option or inventory screen on the 24 inch first, then it won't crash on subsequent access on the smaller screen.

I can reproduce this every time. Work around is to display options on the larger screen before moving the window to the smaller screen.
