I can connect to some 1.8 servers, but when I try t connect to 1.7 it says

I am on a different computer, but one day it just stopped working out of no where. I t won't let me play really any servers. The only one I can play right now is Cosmic Prisons. It does not let me connect to any other 1.7 or 1.8 servers.
