Game freezes on world load

What I expected to happen was...:
To open the world and play

What actually happened was...:
I would load the world and freezes the game. I can't make any input and i have to use ctrl+ alt+ del to get it out of it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open launcher
2. Select the world on Multiplayer server
3. Game freezes

When the game freezes it has the Steve Skin and not my custom skin so whatever is happening is after the world renders but before the custom skin gets loaded
