Animation of the bow/crossbow doesn't update when there are no arrows in the inventory

The bug

If you have a bow or crossbow in the offhand and an arrow in the main hand, then throw the arrow out of your inventory, the bow or crossbow loading animation will not stop/disappear.

How to reproduce

1. Take a bow or crossbow, move it to the off hand.
2. Get yourself an arrow.
3. Pull the bowstring or load the crossbow.
4. Drop the arrow, without releasing the bow or crossbow.
   → Animation of the bow or crossbow does not stop, and if you release the bow or crossbow, nothing will happen.
