Elytra stops flying when changes from transparent block to solid block

The bug

When you're flying with the elytra in tight spaces, boosted by a firework, against a transparent block ceiling (glass in this case, I don't know about leaves, ...), flight immediately comes to a halt when the ceiling changes from glass to solid blocks.
