[META] Question about updating issues

So I have found this bug in 1.5, searched and found a previous issue reported.

Now the affected version is only for older versions.

Question: how do we act?

1. Create a new issue with updated version.

2. Hope that the original submitter will get back and update it?

3. Somehow allow other than the op to update tickets?

4. Forget about it, nothing can be fixed here.
