"Java Stopped Working" on any version except for the latest one (Tested on two separate computers)

Since before the update to the new loader, i can't play older versions of the game. I couldn't play the alphas, i couldn't play release 1.2.5, and at a certain point, not even release 1.5.2 would load, i would click "Play" and java would immediately "Stop Working", i deleted my .minecraft folder more than 10 times, i re-installed the operating system on my computer, and even TESTED ON A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MACHINE. Same results, no other version will load except for the latest one. Always the same error: "Java Stopped Working". And when i try to record the latest version of the game using Nvidia Shadowplay the same problem occurs "Java Stopped Working"
