WASD keys get stuck on servers, player moves alone

While trying to play on a server my player starts to move by himself in the direction I go to. For example I press w and release it but the player keeps moving.
I don't think it's a keyboard problem because it works fine on singleplayer and outside Minecraft.
Please help.
