Can't join any multiplayer servers since new update.

Whenever i try to join a multiplayer server after this new update, it says "Java.lang.NullPointerException", http://prntscr.com/e6w2hk. I never ha this issue before until this new update. Also in the launcher game output it comes up with an error which is linked here: http://prntscr.com/e6w344. I've re-installed minecraft twice, pressed the repair button instead of uninstalling a few times and haven't had any change. Any way of fixing this?
