if i start up minecraft 1.11.2 in the launcher it says: an unexpected error has occured. sorry for the inconvenience.

Minecraft 1.11.2 doesn't launch when I click on the "play"button.
What did I expect to happen:
the game would launch and I could play on a server.
What actually happened was...:*
When I clicked on the "play" button it said: An unexpected error has occured. sorry for the inconvenience.

I tried other versions of the game (including the new snapshot) and they worked perfectly for me.

Could you fix this please
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the minecraft launcher
2. select the latest released version of minecraft( 1.11.2)
3. click on the "play button"
