launcher crash

minecraft does not launch
this is a fresh install on a new PC
when i click the green play button the screen goes blank and then i get a popup: GAME CRASH - an unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience

i dont see any error logs besides nativelog that was created on my desktop - i've attached it
