New launcher crashes after i hit "play"

After loading the game launcher I press "play" and it begins to process, the launcher goes completely black and then shows a 'pop-up' window within the launch that says "GAME CRASH An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience."

This has only begun to happen now with the updated launcher.
