cntrl and shift won't work on the inventory

So, for a couple of days now my shift and contol wont work on my inventory(make an item swtich sides instantly, make more than 2 item at a time in the crafting bench, etc..). whenever i click on something, it wont pick up unless i drag it. the weird thing is my control and shift (sneak and sprint) work fine unless im in my inventory
