Minecraft Goes red

When I looked for other people with this bug I found a lot of them for 1.8 but this happened when when I killed a chicken that I got from an egg. Every thing goes red except for the menus and inventory. The main menu gets messed up to. I cannot reproduce this error at all sorry .

I got the following in the log printed a lot when it happened.
