If gravel falls it starts glitching.

When gravel falls it teleports up one block and then falls one block (even if there is a block above it) then teleports down a few blocks and then falls normally.
What I expected to happen was:
The gravel to fall normally

Steps to reproduce:
1: place gravel (preferably in a high place)with no support.
2: watch gravel fall and glitch.
