When I go onto minecraft 1.9 to 1.11.2 when I get into a world all it shows is blue then it crashes.

When I go onto Minecraft 1.9 to 1.11.2 I go onto a world and all it shows up is blue and my hotbar but I can't go onto inventory and I can't move. After 5 seconds it crashes and does of course it des ''Java(TM) Platform Binary Is Not Responding'' so then I try a different version and do the whole thing over and over again. If you could help me that would be great thank you Stephen Restall.
