Minecraft crash when exiting Inventory

While playing Minecraft single player in creative mode when I exit out of my inventory the screen goes blank and a crash report appears on the screen. I then have to quit our of Minecraft and start the game over but anytime I go into my inventory once I close it off it will crash again.
