Minecraft crashes whenever I try to run it on windows 7

So when I downloaded the game on my windows 7 computer I was so happy. Then I go to open it up and then it just opens the crash report screen and says something went wrong. It keeps happening and happening and it never works. I tried multiple things and download javas but it just dosnt work.
