Mining a block entity with a high efficiency tool has a low chance to duplicate it (Shulker Box, Ender Chest)

When mining a block entity too fast with a high level efficiency tool, the block entity sometimes drops 2 instead of 1. This seems to only be happening with Shulker Boxes and Ender Chests. EDIT: seems to be happening with buttons too.
