Boats seem to "levitate" coming down from a slime-launch

When a boat comes back down from a slime-launch, it levitates in mid-air, falling slowly. When you ride it though, everything is normal (Or you can experience the bug MC-111269). Also, if you remove or cover the slime block, the boat will fall as normal.
