I can't log into any worlds (single or multiplayer)

I expected to be able to join servers and singleplayer worlds
(by the way, your "Affects Version/s" area doesn't recognize any other version aside from 1.11 and "above".)
Minecraft crashes whenever i try to get into a singleplayer or multiplayer world

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I click play
2. I click single or multiplayer
3. I try to enter the singleplayer world or multiplayer server
4. Minecraft crashes automatically
