Trapdoor Colliding With Player

I have searched for this and doesn't seem to be listed. Place a Trapdoor at the of a block which is one high above the ground, now right-click on it till it's in its down position, go into the 'trapdoor block area' and right click on the trapdoor again to bring it back up. You are still within the block area while the Trapdoor has collided with yourself, you can step out of the Trapdoor area but you can't then re-enter it. You can also jump up 'through' the trapdoor but land on the top. Images are below.
