Losing golden apples by curing zombie villagers

In a survival world I found a baby zombie villager, I wanted to cure him and an adult one I had previously. Then, I gave the baby zombie the potion of weakness and a golden apple, and the second golden apple I had prepared was eaten by me for this bug.
