Sticky fishing rod

After i tried fishing while flying (the fishing rod has in the left hand), i removed the fishing rod from the slot and the wire was still there. When i tried to drop items, they are killed .Then, n i tried to quit the world , it crashed.
If it isn t working,sorry, it may be caused by my stupid computer,not a bug.
