Zombies stop attacking you if your in a corner

Ive tested this in single player, A solo server, multiple multiplayer servers.

When a zombie locks onto you and chases you if you stand in the corner of a block against a wall, It will attack you once then completely ignore you. Not sure what causes it but. Ive tested multi zombies they all do it.
