Tnt in minecart

When the minecart with tnt exploded the connected rails/ blocks underneath the cart were not effected by the explosion. Remember I don't know if this function was intentionally added so don't make me feel bad if that is the case. I have added an image to go with my explanation of the problem if the description was to vaguely written.
