Boats placed underwater

I have found that boats can be placed and sat in underwater. When under the water you can place the boat in any underwater area. Sitting in the boat will keep the boat where it is or sometimes sink. It can't be moved by the player as you normally would.

Not sure if this was meant to be or not, seems like a bug.
