Lagging Leads

i have lead something, my horse, sheep, and llamas and hooked them to a post and they all do the samething, i unhook the lead and the part that is literally on or around the fence stays or unhooking them takes maybe 1 and a half minutes to come off, i can break and have broke the fence that the part runs around and it still stays
