Villagers Become invisible after some time when kept in Minecart. A ghost villager is created at that location with no AI(also it cant be moved). they reappear when the minecart is broken

What I expected to happen was...:
the villager (in the minecart) to move in the direction in which i pushed it.

What actually happened was...:
When i pushed the minecart(with the villager in it), only the minecart moved.a ghost Villager with no AI was created at that location. also, i wasn't able to move it. when the minecart was broken the ghost villager disappeared and the original villager appeared at the location where i broke the minecart.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.spawn a villager / find a naturally spawned villager
2. place rails towards it
3.place a minecart on the rails
4.push the minecart
5. after the villager gets into the minecart, wait for a few minutes.
6.try pushing the minecart
