Crashes instantly when trying to go into fullscreen mode.

I expected minecraft to simply enter fullscreen, it was working fine a few days ago and now it does not for some odd reason. I have googled around a lot and it seems that many other people are having the same issue with no fix.

Every time I try to go into fullscreen mode, minecraft closes and sends me back to the launcher with a crash report.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Press F11 or enable fullscreen in options.
2. ???
3. Profit
