When i turn VBO's on it immideatly crashes

first of all, my drivers are UPDATED. that isn't it. this is why it isn't a duplicate. it just immideatley crashes, upon joining something. if i'm lucky, i can get into a world for ~1min and then it crashes. no crash report, just "game ended with bad state" -1073740940.
