Blank screen when looking at glowing effect

Every time I look at an entity affected with Glowing, my screen turns completely blank. I tried updating my Intel Graphics Driver version to the latest update, but this had no effect. I also tried turning V-sync on and VBOs off plus increasing dedicated RAM for Minecraft to no avail. This affects all versions of Minecraft which have the Glowing effect, not just 1.10.2.
