Tesselating block in world

On joining a particular planet on this server, repeated crash (is this due to a buffer overflow?) how can i grow the buffer to work around this pls. I think the issue is specific to a particular region on this planet - i have no problems joining other planets on this server.

Why can't i select version 1.8.9 ?
