Crash when using backspace after deleting all the characters in the name of anything with a custom one

Way to reproduce:
1) Name any item using an anvil and take it out of it.
2) Put it back in the anvil
3) Delete all the characters in its name
4) Press backspace one more time
5) Game has crashed (at least for me)
