Pistons dissapearing

I built the two setups from the picture and I pressed the button and powered the lever. That worked fine but when I pressed the button and flipped the lever again, the second pistons disappeared.

How to reproduce:
1. Build the setups
2. Flip the lever and press the button
3. Flip the lever and press the button again.
4. Notice that the second pistons disappear.
