Grey, Dark Welcome screen?

What I expected to happen was to see the welcome screen with the minecraft background, and then click on singleplayer.

What actually happened was that the background was grey and the buttons were dark and spooky

Steps to Reproduce:
1. i have no idea of how to reproduce it.
2. when i clicked on singleplayer and then back, it was fixed...
