Can't use pick block on monster spawners (ignore, duplicate)

What I expected to happen was...:
Pressing the scroll wheel would give me a monster spawner in creative or move to a monster spawner in my hotbar.

What actually happened was...:
Nothing happens.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type /give @p minecraft:mob_spawner
2. Place it.
3. Type /clear or move to a different slot in the hot bar
4. Press the scroll wheel on it.
