TNT not igniting when torch is placed

I was fiddling around some of the new features in the 13w09b snapshot, when I noticed a strange bug when I put a redstone torch near a block of TNT, It wouldn't ignite, though if I put in the redstone torch FIRST, and THEN put in the TNT block in, then it would ignite.
