"Place Block" bind changes do not carry through to crating

If you bind the "Place Block / Use Item" key to another button (In my case, the Mouse 3 button), it only accepts the default when crafting. My G502 is old and when right clicking will sometimes click a good 6 times per second, making crafting a pain, so I'd like to see this change if possible.
