Missing Textures??

So i was on multiplayer on 1.10.2 and i had a line of chests so i needed to grab something from one of them but they were invisible i even hit the F3 key and it it said minecraft:chest, I do not know if its my client or a public bug but i'm not sure if this this is a realms bug or minecraft bug
