Crashing

Well, I go to an older version of minecraft and I go back to 1.10.2 And It crashes. My friend showed me a way to fix it before it happens But It would not work. Then I saw that minidumps aren't enabled by default So I went to the options where they are and I saw that the options were changed PLEASE HELP!
