EOFExeption: SSL peer shut down incorrectly

The Play button was changed to Play Offline, and to try and fix it, I logged out. Upon trying to log back in, I was unable to, with the window stating
"Sorry, but we couldn't connect to our servers. Please make sure that you are online and that Minecraft is not blocked. (EOFExeption: SSL peer shut down incorrectly)"
This has been happening every time I try to log in since then. I have tried reinstalling both Minecraft and Java.
